Haley is a registered nurse, specializing in oncology. She is an Arizona native but recently embarked on a new career path as a traveling oncology nurse. She is also in graduate school pursuing a Master’s Degree in Nursing, to eventually become a Nurse Practitioner. Outside of grad school and working as a nurse, Haley is an avid volunteer and believes that possessing a deep commitment to helping others is the key to living a full and fulfilled life.

Her passion for healthcare began at a young age but was solidified after witnessing her little brother James Jr. battle childhood cancer. His zest for life and incandescent spirit continues to inspire and motivate her to give back to other families battling cancer. James Jr. was a recipient of animal therapy while he was a childhood cancer patient- amidst pokes, prods, and chemotherapy, he found incredible happiness in the furry friends at the hospital. (His favorite was a miniature pony named Snickers.)

Haley is excited to push the mission of the Healing Paws Network forward by utilizing her experience in the medical field to connect even more people to the healing benefits of animal therapy.
