Brad Quarberg retired in July 2023 as a Distinguished Senior University Relations Specialist after 38 years at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He specialized in internal and external communications, alumni and development communications, marketing initiatives as well as media and legislative relations. Quarberg was active in the Council for Advancement and Support of Education District Five (CASE V) during his professional career, serving as the district’s newsletter editor and marketing coordinator from 1997-2012, as well as chair of the district’s conference in 2003 and 2004. He received the CASE District V Distinguished Service in 2012 and earned numerous CASE Circle of Excellence and Pride of CASE V awards. Quarberg has been deeply involved in the La Crosse community. He served on the school board from 2016-24, has been involved with Rotary for more than 25 years, held numerous positions with La Crosse Festivals-Oktoberfest, Bethany-St. Joseph Corp., and many more. He and his wife have two grown children and live in La Crosse.
